Stewardship
If you click on the button above, you can view pictures of recent events at St. Barnabas. Recently our creative sign ministers, Micki and Dale, put up a sign that read "God sent a repair crew for this broken world and we're it!" This ties in with our theme for this years stewardship campaign, "Make Miracles Happen!" We know that God is the one in charge of making miracles happen in our lives, but often it's our human hands that allow those miracles to affect our entire community. Consider the pictures in the photo album titled "stewardship":- Blessing of the Pets has brought some wonderful folks into our church.
- preparing snacks and meals feeds the body and builds community at the same time.
- Our kids make us a delicious pancake breakfast every month to earn money for camp, where they learn more about their faith.
- Our Deacon will be starting a Parish Nurse program in the upcoming months.
- The children put on the Epiphony pageant, and members gathered and wrapped gifts for the poor.
- Our softball team does evangelism on the softball fields, praying openly and sometimes with the opposing team.
- An anonymous donor funded a Ga-Ga court and our youth leaders, with many helpers, built the court for our youth.
- Kids Hope USA is a nationally recognized mentor program that many of our members volunteer with. This year our church was assigned sixteen children and enough volunteers stepped up to ensure that sixteen children who could use a little extra help will have a mentor.
These are but a small sampling of the fun and work of St. B's....miracles of ministry.
